Little do they know cars have evaporative fuel systems designed to prevent vapors from exiting the tank. That repeated clicking will overfill the tank, and quite possibly could damage the system by dumping raw fuel into something meant for vapors.

Well, in CA we have these ultra sensitive handles, you know, eco friendly and all, and they false stop, constantly. Especially on the newer 911s (porsche has a fill spout adapter to try and fix this). So yeah, I am always "topping off" because 1/2 the time the tank is 3/4 full.

The danger you described is no longer valid, unless you're describing a round dollar number.
Getting to the next round ten cent number when the cost is ~$4/gallon puts in half as much as when it was $2, so not enough to overfill.
I tried explaining that to my ex, and it didn't go so well. :)

I charged at one of the 350kw faster chargers yesterday afternoon after waiting waiting 15 minutes for a spot, no issues at all but I was only getting a charge of 100-130kw and finished up getting slightly under a 60kw charge. I was hoping to get to a 200kw+ charge but no dice this time around.

I've charged a few more times at EA stations around my house with good success. Most times I just have to wait 10-15 minutes for a charging station to come free. On my last charging session I was going a 130-140kw charge on a 150kw charger. The bigger test will be when I drive out to Vegas in a few days.
