Spyders in the Wild...

You can definitely take the 964 further into more focused canyon car by doing some of the things that Spyerx has done but then it does lose some of its day to day comfort.

Now to go drive the Spyder and add some pics to this thread...

So not really a compare. Its not hard to better the performance of the factory car. Factory car (aside from the RS label) has a good blend of balance. Mine will be much edgier.

I get all the mods you mentioned. But how are u getting all that much more power out of it?
Never mind. This is the 981 forum. I'm getting way off topic. Enjoy the spyder. More and more, it's my fav all around car in my small fleet.

Sport buckets look awesome.
I feel they are the most uncomfortable seat for street or track Porsche has made.
I orefer recaro pole positions or profi for track and are good for street too.
the sofa seats are quite good.
Peoblem for me on sports is when wearing a Hans it pushes head way forward and on street they don’t have enough boloster

I like the sofa seats in the Spyder, but am not crazy about them. The sports buckets wouldn’t have worked for me. Surprisingly, I actually prefer the seats in my 05 base Carrera. They fit me like a comfortable pair of old shoes. Maybe it’s the fact that the car has over 100k miles on it, allowing the seats to become well broken in so to speak.

When you get a chance, maybe share some of your impressions once you get more familiar with the car.
Huge congrats, and welcome!

Thank you for your reply, I will post some photos soon and the specification of the car etc. As for my impression of the car I love it, I had a 2014 Boxster GTS before and thought is it worth spending all this money and changing for a similar car? The answer is a big YES, I love it though our road laws make it hard to have too much fun. I live on Phillip Island and we have the Australian Moto GP race track so I will have to do a track day as soon as the weather improves.
