Considering buying a set of 991 narrow body Carrara wheels in platinum satin for my spyder
20x8.5 offset 51 mm front
20x11 offset 70 mm rear
My question is two parts, first if I stay w stock size tires would I need spacers if so what size
Or if go with 245/35/20 n 295/30/20 what size spacers would I need
And would you go with the wider tire ?
Please help
Fronts are going to be ok. I suspect you will be closer to the fender by a bit, but the stock wheels are +57 and my wheels are +55 and both fit fine. 4mm is not a huge delta. Stock or GT4 size tires will work ok, since the width is the same (8.5")
Rears will need a big one, 20mm or so. Further, an 11" wheel is too large for a 265, the 295/30r20 is what you want here. I'm curious to see what the finish result looks like!
I just wished 3.8 was imprinted on the intake and not GT4. I like the way it looks but I don't think I'll be doing this Modification. Having two, I'm tempted to Modify one but still not sure. Stock is so nice as it is IMHO.

It's easy to smooth out the gt4 script before painting, gets filled in, looks perfect. Then you add 3.8 stickers there
Fist mod (of sorts) , changed the key fob to carbon fiber. Wife had ordered this for a Christmas present from Suncoast, look much better than the flat black plastic

To be perfectly honest, I didn't do that, the paint shop which did my scoops did that work. It's part of their paint prep

Yes, but finding the shop, dealing with them, that all takes effort IMHO-- perhaps interpersonal skills I find myself lacking. Anyway you still are fun to follow and your energy is palpable.
