Spyder Modifications

get the headers.. trust me... just spend the $ and get them. no ecu change, no cel, no issues.. and just as quiet with PSE off. but the mid-range torque change you get is transformative... and the sound with PSE on is... unbelievable. it's not just LOUD... it's musical.. like trumpets sounding in unison.
removing or adding them is also a very quick job.

Hi Alexio,
nicely done!
Did you already get your clear bra done? If yes, which film and where did you get it done? I am looking for some PPF for my incoming Spyder here in NorCal :-)...

Thought I'd post some outside shots of it with the carbon wrap bits. Also took a close-up shot of the seam on the windshield frame, as the carbon there had to be done in three parts… It's very very clean, barely noticeable, but anybody who cares to do this this might bother them.

Just FYI, removing the headlamps is really quite easy - takes about 3 minutes per side.

Yes, it was suntek I believe, had JEREMY in Belmont do it.. +1 (415) 326-4273. I didn't have him remove headlamps, or the bumper, but to Mayeye he did a fantastic job of wrapping everything around to making it look very very clean for a reasonable price.

Not really digging the fake CF wrap either. Looks out of place and takes away from the classiness of the car IMO.

Not a fan of the fakey CF wrap either (sorry). You have a real Boxster Spyder. No need to add fake CF. Have to admit I also hate the wind deflector graphic. Car is lovely otherwise.

the graphic is another poster not mine. I understand the no-love for the wrap.. it's cheap experimentation and fun for me, may remove it, or may add teh porsche side stripes and see how it all fits together. This car captures my imagination more than any other and every interaction/drive I get to have is a plus.

haha.. isn't that the truth. I'm moving towards the "final" mods which are adding some small spacers to the wheels, and the plenum/tb as soon as the "hanging throttle" issue discovered over on the gt4 forum has been resolved. Luckily I feel like I don't regret any of these mods, and/or they are easily reversible. glad to shine the light down the dark hallway as it were... no stumbling blocks along the way yet.. just one amazing car to enjoy.
