Fadi, the car looks great.

Does anyone know if the GT4 front lip changes any sort of aerodynamics on the Spyder. Does it provide extra front end downforce that would need to be balanced by the rear wing as on the GT4

Yes, it would change the aerodynamics and probably make the car inherently worse without adding downforce at the back. I agree that it looks cool but this mod is probably dilutive.

The gt4 front lip sticks out about an inch , I don't think it's a big difference, and keep in mind at speed our spoilers come up instead of the fix duck tail gt4 one , is it factory approve ??? No but the car didn't change that much.

I doubt it makes any measurable difference for us mortals. It looks great, and the car is as stable as it can be. I will be taking it to COTA in the near future just for fun, and will give you guys a feedback, I had it installed at the dealership BTW.
On my GT3 when I did the sharkwerk exhaust bypass some folks mentioned that it may offset the balance. It doesn't

Not quite a mod, but I just bought two pair of these for working/cleaning on my Spyder.

http://www.jackpointjackstands.com

Always hated normal jack stands.

I like those, and they are probably better for other cars, but I bought a set of Liftbars (from http://liftbars.com/) that I really like. I do have to use a few inches of ramp in the rear to get my jack under them.

They work great, though, and plug into the factory lift locations. You lift with a floor jack, then put jack stands directly under them. They are very stable and easy to use.

I am one of the unfortunate folks that didn't get to build their spyder
One of the options I like is the painted roll bar covers
Found a link on planet 9 how to remove it

http://www.planet-9.com/981-cayman-a...r-cover-3.html

Actually quite easy just need t25 torx socket and a few plastic trim pry tools

Only difference from directions above there are two screws that hold front piece on so must pop off seat belt retractor cover first

Will send out this week to have it painted

One question, do any of these changes void warranty, or would you have to reverse one or several components before taking the car in for warranty work? (I know from many of your posts that you're careful to avoid "irreversible" changes). Thanks!

PM sent to you guys on the exhaust information, and I look forward to working with you

To those interested in the setup, CAlexio is currently running our Sport Header ($3095) and Valvetronic Exhaust ($3295) configuration. We saw maximum gains of this combination at 3600rpm gaining approximately 39whp and 56wtq. Here is the relevant dyno graph (gray vs red).

Please feel free to give me a call/email/PM me with any questions or interest

Alex as always I greatly appreciate you posting up your review. It truly helps our fellow members make an educated decision on taking their driving experience up a notch with our products. You are the man haha

Decided to go with the entire section maybe a mistake but I find the black factory plastic looks rather cheap
Also debated doing seat belt cover and black roof cover that flips chose not to for now but they come off real easy so I could add later and him save some extra paint so it will match

I dropped them off this morning will have back by Friday
So we can decide if it was bad decision or not
Also ordered clear plexi wind stop to finish it off

So my mods to date
3m full front
bolster seat covers
Ipd plenum and Tb
Cobb AP
Gt4 lip
Roll bar covers pained
And famous last words my final mod Kline manifolds inbound tmrw
So should have everything buttoned up by Friday

scheduling a dyno session for next week
Then drive her like a giddy teenager

This company does great work. I had their exhaust installed on my 996 TT. It was like a piece of artwork.

Agreed !!! I have inconel exhaust on my tts , love it
So had to wait a bit to get them but I'm sure it was worth the wait
Will give a review when I have them in my hands and planning on doing the install myself as well so will take pics along the way

Get some dynos done if you can! I'm surprised that Kline chose to go with an unequal length design. Do you know what kind of cats they use?
