Not a major modification but I installed tinted clears on the car while it was being detailed.

This is good to know. I am on trip to Atlanta PEC. In arriving in Atlanta on Friday night I hit a huge hole on IH 20 as I am changing lanes to exit on to IH-75 South. Damaged both front and rear right side stock wheels. Hennessy Porsche is helping greatly and did the diagnosis but say that they cannot find any 981 Spyder wheels in the US. They expedited a couple from Germany and estimate their arrival to be Wednesday or Thursday. So, I am stranded here and my trip will likely be interrupted but hopefully not by much. They do say that the tires are OK but I wonder if they really are after absorbing enough force to bend the wheels.

-The wheels on the left side are OK. I will need the two for the right to have a good set of four anyway but perhaps they have a set of GT4 wheels they could make me a deal on now to get me going. For me I suppose it depends on dollars but what a great option to have if I can afford it.

kitwetzler and RSGT Thanks for posting this information!

No pictures yet. I am trusting the dealer service techs when they say that the bends are in a wavy pattern and cannot be straightened. Being a new car I do not want to rely on straightened wheels as a primary set. I( will try and have the bent wheels straightened to keep as a back up set, though. The dealer pulled it into his storage garage after diagnosis.

Can any of you all give me the stock wheel specs for the 981 Spyder? My car is in the shop along with my book and I cannot locate the specs on line.

I found a set of black 981 Boxster GTS wheels that show front 8 X 20 ET 57 and Rear 9.5 X 20 ET 45. My question is whether this is the same size as the silver wheels that came on my 981 Boxster Spyder?

Default leather bezel from Exclusive Option

Frank from Exclusive Option sent me an email with pics of a beautiful piece which I'm considering...

funny that porsche didn't create this themselves but man this has some great visual effect.

looks like $365 and available now.. I may go for it.. deciding between this, or a few choice bits of carbon sprinkled around the interior.

I have bought a bunch of Frank's items over the years - nice quality and he is easy to deal with (great service)...I like the chrono cover. Very cool upgrade.
