Presently in Pacific Northwest visiting my sister-in-law & her family in West Seattle.
Was able to contact Amar & some of the other Porsche enthusiasts that meet each
Sunday morning for early breakfast in Issaquah. Great to see all of these guys again.
And Amar brought his new-to-him 987 Spyder to show us. Beautiful car. I forget how
merlot-color is the 'Carrera Red'. Was quite surprised as that was not my memory of
it when I had my '12 Aqua/Carrera Red Spyder.
Hope this thread is open to anyone A picture of "love at first sight", and another using the car as intended (patiently waiting for the next local track day) <1 week of ownership
The buyer of my Spyder # 1 recently told
me how happy he was with his buy. To quote him the car is truly a perfect blend of modern day reliability and old school tactility.
You guys are killing me...
I sold my second Spyder a couple months ago and I am having withdrawals.
I tried to buy the Aqua Blue one that went up for sale today but it literally sold within hours and I was second in line.....
I am trying to decide if I want to buy a white one but I think the one I am looking at is just too much $....
I will likely sell my 356 Speedster replica that I just bought and buy another 987 Spyder....
But I am also #1 on the list at my dealer for a 718 Spyder...and I am not sure I want to get rid of my Carrera T.......
The 987 Spyder is just a sweet sweet car for so many reasons..amazing to drive and beautiful to look at also....
