Yes, the Spyder I'm getting has the button. There was a recent thread about it (I was the one who was wondering). It's apparently a faux button that some Spyders have (earlier ones) and others don't. It doesn't do anything.

Did you get a Spyder?

I have the stupid spoiler button, but it's next to my sport button, not my PSM button.

Oh I know a lot of Spyders still had the non-functional spoiler button. Both my white 2011 and the riviera 2012 had it. I was more curious if anyone didn't have the button?

Unfortunately no Spyder yet... Hopefully soon.

Vetman, which Spyder did you end up getting?

Ok... so both (no spoiler and traction control) were added very late in production.
Thanks Eduardo!

I remember a while back you asked if there was any Spyders with the bright silver paint wheels like the Cayman R... Did you ever find any?

Well, no spoiler for sure. But that was always a 'dead', non-functional button as we all know. The last one is just a new logo on the same function button. It still meant 'PSM' off!

Yes, this one!

#5190 Platinum/black. Manual, sport leather/alcan seats, A/C, Sport Chrono, Bi-Xenos, Alcantara pkgs, Sport shifter, PSE. 496 mi. PCNA car at Ellis (GA) 6/12 for $75K

Some of us think none of the original Spyders, even our late production July builts, ever came with the 'brighter' Cayman R wheels. The fact that #5190 is a PCNA car which was show piece at Amelia Island Concours in 2012 (I have been told) makes me suspect that wheels were replaced by PCNA at some point and ended up on the car when it was recently disposed off by the importer.

Saludos,
Eduardo

I think it might be the only one offered from Porsche with the bright silver Spyder wheels... Based on what Alan said in your link above, I did a quick flickr search of the LA auto show 2011 and found these images of it. Interesting that they changed the wheel caps though to the standard black from the painted on the show car. Other than that it has the exact options as #5190.

Oh, probably not one that people here would be familiar with. It showed up briefly on eBay. I contacted the seller and went to go see it since it is relatively close. Put deposit down and it was taken off of eBay.

No spoiler button. "PSM Off" text on the stability control button. 3/10 build.
