Well, you know what... we ALL make mistakes in life. I've made plenty that I'm not proud of. If you do find another Spyder to your liking, please keep it this time? For me?

If you have another automobile ADHD moment, please get another car as Afshin said - not replace it with something else.

With all that said, I'd like to wish you luck in finding your perfect Spyder.

once you have full leather its hard to go back. my 1995 911 has full leather and supple leather seats, the smell, touch and stitching is second to none.

Very nice 993!

I agree that full leather has a dramatic affect on appearance.

Cayman, buy Eduardo's car so I can get it out of my mind please. Here's a link to more photos just in case you need something to wet your appetite. https://rennlist.com/forums/987-981-...m-order-5.html

I had no idea that he was even considering selling his Spyder. What about w00tporsche... doesn't he have a dog in this fight?

If I'm not mistaken w00tporsche ended up buying something else.

I don't think Eduardo is in a rush to sell the Spyder but he won't turn down the right offer either.

I forgive him in a BIG way!

Thanks for agreeing to resurrect your website.

For what it's worth, I still adore the Riviera Blue Spyder, and would not change one option. Thanks to Donavan for adding the PSE. I especially enjoy the *** over Sport Buckets for street use. I love the Buckets in my .2RS for its 98% track use. Perhaps it's a near perfect combo to have the Spyder/RS pair. They compliment each other nicely.

Nah, don't think so...IMHO it is the perfect street car compliment to my GT3RS. I do get a little Donavanesque ADHD with some of my cars periodically, but not feeling it now with these two.

For most folks cars are just modes of transportation. But for the Amar’s (me), Vetman's, Steve Colletti’s, Joe’s, Afshin’s and the Eduardo’s out there these cars are specialized tools that play a very significant role in our life. The spyder is a brilliant roadster designed to expose you to the elements. I drive about 30,000 miles a year between Seattle and Eastern WA and the weather save for about three months a year is very unpredictable especially over the Snoqualmie pass. There is no overpass for me to stop and shield his carrera red leather and if I were to drive it with the top up more often than not then that's like going to the Opera house wearing noise cancelling headphones.

I was very much enamored by Eduardo’s Spyder but in order for it to gain entry into my garage, it would have to replace my C4S. Now I have the time to track or take a car for a early Sunday morning drive just to keep the fluids up to temps on a regular basis, nor do a cars and coffee person (all these being other potential uses for the spyder), then it is a different story. The
C4S is a brilliant all-weather performer and that stays … Eduardo and I have communicated and he understands. Thanks for thinking of me guys.
