YES!!!!
To all my (virtual) friends:
I am happy to report that I just put down a deposit on a Spyder!!!!!!!
Specs:
1) 2011 - bought in 9/10 though I haven't yet confirmed when the warranty card was actually punched.
2) Carrara White
3) CF bucket seats!!!
4) Bi-xenons... but no DC. I was really surprised since I thought that bi-xenon and DC were a package in the newer cars. But whatever - I don't really give a ....
5) Sport Chrono w/out PCM.
6) Sound package+
7) AC
8) Manual, of course
9) Cup holders. Yeah...
10) Bluetooth. Probably won't be all that practical with the top and the exhaust I've planned for it.
11) Universal audio interface
12) Roll bar painted exterior color. Won't make me go any faster but maybe good for some brownie points.
13) Clear bra on entire hood and fenders, i.e. not just the front 1/2.
14) Clear side lights.
15) FVD Brombacher cat-back exhaust. Will be for sale!
16) GT3 alcantara shifter and e-brake.
17) 7,6xx miles at this point. I'm sure it'll be closer to 8,000 when all's said and done.
18) Maybe some others that I've missed.
I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone, and especially those who recommended patience. The reality check (call for patience) really did wonders for my psyche, though for whatever reason it ended up not taking that long.
Car's still in lien so I'm sure it'll be a few weeks before I take possession. I'll be sure to post pics then.

Joe, I'm going to put a Fabspeed race exhaust on it. I'm sure it'll be even louder with the new top..
BTW, do you want the FVD exhaust? No, I have no idea if it'll pass LS.

Fabspeed race? badass. Take some videos and sound clips of the exhaust. You never know if I'll be tempted... I've had a hard time finding a good clip of the FVD exhaust on a 987.2

Yeah, FVD. I can't find a single video/audio clip of an FVD exhaust on a 987.2. They are all 987.1
