Default Spyder side stripes

Has anyone taken off, or had deleted at order time, the side stripes on their Spyder? Keep looking at doing that to give a clean line. I removed the rear badges at delivery

The stripes can be easily removed, they're just stickers. They can also be added on if desired.

I personally like them, it breaks up the side of the car and gives it a unique appearance. But the Spyder looks good without them too!

I agree with Ashfin......the stripes help make the car what it is. To each his own though so do what you will like!

I would reconsider - I have received many complements on how classy and classic the stripes and logo look. It's one small touch that helps to define the car.

Keep 'em. It's one of the features that make the car special.

Very nice! I, too, would go with the "delete" option were I to order one.

I originally was going to take the stripes off, but they quickly grew on me.

At the last track event, I saw a blue Spyder with the stripe, but no "Porsche", it looked nice (not sure where he got it, though).

I think the factory got it right, making the stripes standard equipment. To each his own and I guess that is why they offer stripe delete option.

In general I am always amazed at how when new cars are introduced (and almost at the same time) out comes all the aftermarket and owner inspired improvements......and then ten or twenty years later it is so obvious the factory had it right to begin with. This is almost always true.
