Default Spyder with 7mm and 18mm spacers

I recently went to get some spacers, and after much debate decided to go with 7mm in the front and 18mm on the rears.

I like the look and it seems to have even more grip around corners!

Did you re-adjust the alignment specs or leave the camber/toe as is?

Any issues with rubbing?

Can't tell from the angle shots were taken, but the rear def looks a bit wider than it should. i.e., if you put a ruler flush up against the wheel, you'll probably have a bit of gap between the ruler and the fender.

with the spacers, you are effectively reducing the spring and shock rates. have you noticed a difference?

Left them as is, after 5k miles I will check the tires for abnormal wear patterns and go from there.

No rubbing at all. You can order 5mm spacers from the factory, so 7 isn't really that much more.

I can't tell a difference, but I'm just street driving.

If you track it, check your tire temps. Not only do the spacers alter spring and shock rates, the camber and toe are altered, especially with the track being so much wider in the rear. I wanted to order a set for mine on the build configurator, but it did not allow me to add them with the standard wheels. In any case, it looks bad ***!

It does look good and I have to say that the Blue with Black wheels is a great combo!

Definitely let us know if you see unusual tire wear patterns over time.

What wheels and tires are those, if you don't mind me asking? Like the combo a lot too.

They are Boxster Spyder wheels.

Yup. I agree that in stock form, the rears could fill out the fenders more. But you've gone too far when the outside of the rim is beyond the fender, as it appears to be in the photos.

Texas,
I will check the temps. and thanks. Badass is exactly what I was going for.

MB,
Thanks, and I will report back when I get some miles on these tires.

G550,
Yes, stock wheels and tires.

Alan,
The meat of the tires is within the fender, that being said, I absolutely agree that I am pushing the envelope with the rears, but it works (barely), and I like the look.
