Default What tires came on your Spyder

seems to have a great deal of variance.

P-Zero 235/35 19 and 265/35 19 here

Bridgestone RE050A N1 in the same size as you. I really like these tires, I did two track days in the rain and another in the dry. They have good grip and break away progressively, wet or dry. Hope to try the Michelin Pilot Super Sport next if they come out with the 265/35 19 size by the time the Bridgestones wear out.

I also have the Bridgestone RE050A, great tires with minimal road noise and excellent grip.

Interesting. Why is there such a variance in tire brands/types? Every other car I've bought in the past uniformly had the same tires on all cars...

Mine came with the Goodyear F1. Nothing negative to say about them; terrific ride and handling as advertised, they are not noisy, and it takes a lot of effort to break them loose.

I haven't tried them on the track yet, and it is too early to tell about wear, but pleased so far.

Had PS2's come on my Carrera S's in the past and 'Stone RE050A's on a couple of Turbos

Had P-Corsas on GT-3's but never P-Zeros

Whatever... the Pirellis seem fine, quiet and sticky. Probably the fastest wearing, at least most of my Pirellis have been

The Goodyear surpeises me. Not that there is anything wrong with them, ran them as my street tires on one very twisted Z 06 I wish I still had (sometimes it's just fun to jump on that much TQ). but just odd to see them on a Porsche

That's Porsche for you. Had the dealer swap out the P-Zeros for Michelin Pilot Sports on a 997 I bought from inventory a few years ago. Didn't care for them at all.

My Spyder's got Bridgestones underneath. Rigid tire. So far, so good.

Goodyears here too. I was certainly surprised to see them come with the Spyder but they've been a pleasant surprise so far. Probably will try RE050A at when the time comes but no complaints with the F1 and they seemed to hold up reasonably well at the track, too.
