Default LED question on Spyder

Did a search unsuccessfully.

I thought that my Boxster Spyder would run its front LEDs as DRLs.

If I set the DRL to "on" in the dash computer, all the lights are on, including the headlights and tail lights. If I set it to "off" then no lights including the LEDs are on. Didn't see anything in the manual but I looked quickly.

How can I set the LEDs to be on all the time?

Default Same as my Spyder

I have standard lamps....not sure that we get that feature without the Bi-Zenon option.

I haven't tried to set mine yet. I'll try it this morning and see what the results are.

I just tested mine and like you said the headlights and taillights stay on too. I guess there is no way to have just the LEDs on.

Seems strange. DRLs are not the full compliment of lights. They are suppose to be just the LED or some other light.

If you just want the LED on, turn on parking lights.

That is not just the LEDs, that is also the tail lights and marker lights.

That's strange. I thought it was because my Boxster didn't have the Bi-Xenon but you're does. Okay, do cars without PCM have the LEDs one without everything else being on?

I added PCM but I still can't do LED alone. Unless there is some special setting in the PCM but I can't find it.
