That is another good point. Yes, you're right.

this ^^^

Also, this can happen even in the lower ranges because it's primarily determined by the amount of time spent in a given range. For instance, a car can have more ignitions in Range 5 than in Range 4, if a mis-shift took engine speed up into Range 5 where if stayed for some greater than momentary time frame, while only briefly contributing to Range 4 overrevs on the engine's way up and down from the Range 5 speeds.

Where have all the Spyders gone? Asking for a friend. It’s just Cayman Rs, like city buses, if you miss one, wait 15 minutes and another one shows up. Not that there is anything wrong with that…..

It just ebbs and flows for each car. in 2021, BaT listed 6 Cayman R's, and 9 Spyder's. Seems like the CR's have taken the spot light over this past 30 days though.

Edit: Did some quick maths:

Total 9 Spyder's sold on BaT in 2021: Average Price: $68,762 . Average Miles: 18,020.

Total 6 Cayman R's sold on BaT in 2021: Average Price: $71,706. Average Miles: 26,741.

Seats look pretty rough, but it has SC and PSE. Not that many miles IMO but I understand that some are looking for pristine garage queens. I feel like oftentimes those who throw their listing in the back pages of DuPont aren't necessarily highly motivated to sell their cars. At least it always seemed that way when I used to read the magazine. I'd always see the same cars, month after month, in the classifieds section, usually asking for absolutely top dollar. Seems like BaT and the like are where the real action is these days.

That is a very highly optioned Spyder. Is it correct though that it comes with PCCB? The calipers are red and the rotors appear steel (looks like some very minor surface rust from a wash).

Seems like a great price though considering all the options and mileage.

That red one is nice! Sexy color for the 987 Spyder. Although, the seller should say 7-speed PDK on the listing, not 6 speed.

Silly. They should've just bought a 981 or 718 Spyder.
