Default 2012 Guards Red Spyder build sheets

2012 Guards Red Spyders were very unique, only 8 were built, 5 were PDK

highest was $83,085 VIN 45201 (next to last off the line)

lowest was $68,770 VIN 45065

2012 Aqua Blue Spyders, only 9 were built, 3 were PDK
highest was $84,770 VIN 45187
lowest was $69,665 VIN 45147

2011 Spyders Cream White, only 8 units produced, 2 were PDK

highest $90,545 VIN 45665
lowest $68,440 VIN 45445

3 had no air conditioning
one had no stereo

2012 Spyders Black 30 total produced (2nd highest behind Carrara White for 2012 models), 15 were PDK (50%)

highest was $96,255 VIN 45061

2011 Spyders Platinum Silver total produced 20 (first production month was 9/2010), 7 were PDK

highest $98,465 VIN 45710
lowest $66,015 VIN 45622

only one built with No stereo

My 2012 Aqua Blue’s MSRP is just a bit under the highest for that color and year. Mine has none of the leather options, though. November 2011 build looks like it was the last blue one maybe for NA.

Aqua Blue is definitely a keeper! only 27 built

Quite surprised to see so many Aquas with Sand beige LWB's/6MT.

My ‘12 Aqua Blue actually has Sea Blue leather/Alcantara GT2 seats and a Sea Blue leather sport paddle PDK steering wheel. Both originally black leather.

Did anyone ever definitively figure out the VIN decoding for the earlier characters in the series? For example, all of the North America cars seem to have WP0CB2A as part of the VIN. What's interesting is that the next two vary then all of them seem to have a BS745 then the last 3 numbers are car specific.

So it appears to look like this: WP0CB2A--BS745---

I have looked at those first two numbers and they are not production month specific or color specific and don't appear to be seat or transmission specific either. I suppose it could just be a random pattern but without having the full global VIN database, I can't see the pattern..
