Default Numeric Racing - Still in business?

Anyone know what's going on with Numeric Racing lately? I ordered the shifter/cable kit two weeks ago. No shipping updates, no one answers the phone, no one responds to the voicemails, no email responses, and no response on Facebook messenger.

Perhaps they are out of business?

I think they take a while to ship or they are made to order. I ordered their pedals in November and it took about 1.5 weeks for me to get the shipping confirmation.

I doubt they’re out of business.

Good to hear they probably aren't out of business, but what poor customer service to respond to absolutely no method of communications. I have to laugh at their Contact Us webpage that says "We strive to give our customers the most efficient and responsive customer service in the business."

I had to dig a little bit but came across a few posts that mentioned some personal and personnel issues they were having. For what it's worth, I received my 964 shifter assembly and shift rod about two months after ordering. There wasn't any communication aside from receiving an order confirmation and shipment notification.

I gave up and now have a CAE shifter + cables. Easier to get emails and parts out of Germany of all places.

Odd. I placed an order on March 6 and got shipping confirmation on March 12.

How do you like it? Can you use stock **** and boot with it?

I love it, but my car is mainly driven on track. I don’t think the stock **** or boot would work as the shifter itself is like a foot long.

terrible communication. recently ordered a shifter for a customer of ours. a week later I ask for tracking number, I'm only 2 days away in Atlanta. That day is when they generated the shipping label, only after I asked. If I hadn't leaned on them a week later, I probably still wouldn't have it. And this was after they told me shifters were on the shelf ready to ship.
This isn't an isolated incident. Last 3 orders or so, i went through the same thing.

Won't do business with them again.

Ordered one for my car a few weeks ago, and the shifter + cables were shipped out soon after. So looks like things are back on track for them.

Sounds like a side business or something? Maybe it's not their core focus!

I did end up getting my kit/cables. But not the smoothest experience by any means.

For those with the kit, does it loosen up at all over time? Definitely requires more effort to get it in gear, but the extra effort doesn't equal more precision. On my last track day, I was missing more 5-4 downshifts than with the stock setup.

I have it on my 981 GT4 (different shifter design, but just as a reference). The shfiter doesn't get looser over time much if at all.
