Default ADMs dropping

Anyone else noticing this?

I got a targa 4s allocation out of state for 20k and then asked around in my local state. One dealer said they could try to match even though dealerships are going 30 to 40 over MSRP in my state. Another local dealer said 30 which shows it's dropping. Anyone else seeing this?

Here we go again, everyone pays cash for their 911, but interest rates are crushing everyone, so ADMs are dropping and canceled orders are piling up.

Not that I really trust a car dealer, but mine said ADM has been dropped on base and S models over the last couple of months (for coupes, at least).

A dealer in CA listed a couple of new cars at MSRP. I assume it was legit. And hopefully not just a year end thing.

I got my T allocation a couple days ago at MSRP, and I think a few others did as well

that's good to know. Makes me wonder if I should wait. Seems targa allocations are not as common. Perhaps wlby the time everything goes to MSRP we will be ordering 992.2s. Haha.

Targa 4s MSRP went up 5900 I believe for 23 model.

Default 7500 ADM on C2S coupe

Over the past two weeks I’ve spoken to all the Los Angeles/Southern California based dealers, and all quoted a 20K ADM for a C2S coupe custom order.

I only had one central California dealership offer 7500 over MSRP for a C2S.

I have seen cars offered at MSRP from cancelled orders.

I think we’re heading in the right direction but at least in the Southern California area dealers are still asking for 20K over C2S allocations.

I thought a 7500 ADM for the chance to order a car was fair at this time, wondering if anyone disagrees with me?

I think that's fair from what I was seeing months ago. I also say targa allocations at 40k now down to 20k. Makes me wonder if I hold out just a little longer could I get it at MSRP :P

With some patience MSRP on allocations will be easier to obtain as we head in 2023.

I’m planning to at least attempt to renegotiate the ADM when the vehicle arrives, and also keep looking for an MSRP allocation while I wait.

Heads up folks. BMW is advertising something like $3,500 money back. The inventories are building and at least BMW is seeing a trend here for higher end cars. Give it a few more months and a couple more Fed 50 basis point interest hikes and I'd bet things will start to resemble normal/reasonable at the Porsche Dealerships as well.

It's a toy. As a personal rule, I don't finance toys or depreciating assets.

I'm looking to buy outright. Doesn't need to be a new car but would definitely buy a new one at MSRP.
