Do you have some more pictures of your car taken at more ground level? I also have a 992 GTS with FAL, and trying to figure out if the fixed front ride height is going to look too low or not.
Hi guys, I just received my set of Bilstein shocks but I am a bit on the fence between putting them or not...seems that it is not a night / day improvement over stock.
Anybody has a goot spot to install them in San Diego or OC?

If I still lived in So Cal, I would definitely go to @SupremePower in Fullerton CA. I had them work on two of my BMWs and their shop is impeccably clean, their work is top notch, their prices are reasonable, and they have a ton of experience working on Porsches, BMWs and exotics. They can also do alignment right in house. They installed and dialed in my Bilstein coilovers on my M3 perfectly.
I live in AZ now and had Parts Score in Scottsdale AZ install my Bilstein EVO coilovers for my 992 S and they said it was a straighforward install that was easy so you should not have any issues as long as you go to a good shop. If you are willing to drive all the way to Torrance, you can go to World Motorsport as they have a ton of experience working on 992s as well.
As for whether it's a "night and day improvement over stock" I would say no. The only way for that to happen is if Porsche didn't know what they are doing and gave us a crappy stock suspension. I will say that the car handles better than stock AND rides better than stock in all modes and looks WAY better lowered. Sport+ in particular feels more comfortable while also maintaining it's firmness over Sport. IMO that's all one can ask for on a lowered car. Usually there is a trade off. in this case, the only trade off I feel is that the front lip scrapes more. That's it. Around town driving, high speed driving, bumpy conditions, whatever, the Bilstein EVOs handle and ride better than stock. It gives me none of that floaty, underdamped feeling that running springs only can give when the springs are not matched to the stock shocks.
The link rk-d posted above has a ton of great info on the pros and cons of these coilovers. Here's a link to my latest update after 10 mos and 4000+ miles running Blistein EVO coilovers on my 992 S.

Would be happy to get you set up! Shoot us a msg at sales@supremepower.com and we can discuss if you like
Orbit Racing out of Riviera Beach, FL just completed an awesome job replacing my stock 992 Cabriolet 2C PASM suspension (non-FAL, non-rear steering) with the Bilstein EVO SE set-up. 15mm & 10mm drop in the front and rear respectively; 1.6% rake, and re-alignment of course. I wanted the lowered look, increased corner handling, and solid suspension feel without too much compromising daily driving and "speed bump" crossings. They checked all the boxes! Before (stock)

Congrats! Car looks great! Glad you didn't slam the hell out of it so it will ride and handle properly. Now about those spacers... I'd recommend +15 spacers all around for an excellent, flush, no rub fitment. This is mine lowered w/ Bilsteins and +15 spacers F and R on stock Carrera Classic rims...

Thank you for the recommendation. World Motorsports is in in Torrance about 10 minutes south of LAX. We are on the coast so I guess it does make us farther away from inland cities.
We have been working on a lot of 992's and we have installed most types of suspensions on these cars. I have the Bilstein Evo SE in my own personal car and have have switched many cars that had adjustable spring kits to Bilstein kits. The reason that those customers switched was because the ride with the adjustable spring kits was too harsh for them and once they drive a car with the Bilstein's they feel a need to switch because the car rides so much better over the road.
We have these Bilstein suspensions in stock at our shop and we are happy to provide the installation as well. We also have the H&R Springs, TechArt sport springs as well as the TechArt adjustable spring in stock as well. We stock all these at our place because we find ourselves doing a lot suspensions in these cars.
We're here to help you guys with any of your needs.
