And georg kacher telling us to expect an x90 touring package and multiple cleaning lady confirmations.

Frankfurt motor show finishes September 25, we will know more by then.

Why do you say that? It has the GT3 central exhaust and no obvious intercoolers...

Also, the LB (Ludwigsburg) license plate indicates a Weissach car (GT Dept)...

Vertical slats on the engine lid. Unless they are going to those on all models moving forward (or a mule). They are only on the turbo cars currently.

That only denotes a 991.2 body style rather than 991.1.

Yep.. exactly. The slats are cosmetic options, more of a branding attribute. But the lack of intercoolers is determinant. This is an NA engine, no question. I'll put money on it.

The Wheels are GT3 wheels, so it is definitely a GT3.
they wont offer GT3 rims on a Non GT car.

Exactly. This may be a Touring Package tester as I said earlier. Here are a few more photos. Note that these photos were taken on the 29th of April.

Additional hint:
The guy sitting in the car is wearing the official Porsche Motorsport jacket.

As the "regular" departments don't get them (they can only buy the "regular ones" with "Selection" sticked to it) it is a very good sign that the guy sitting in the car is working for the GT Department

I was wondering if it could be that - but would that be developed in Weissach? Don't think the previous one was, but it didn't have a Motorsport motor (so maybe a change there)?

Although the 911R was not technically a GT car, it was unusually developed at Weissach. So there could be a new protocol for these types of cars now...
