Has anyone else been informed of yet another airbag recall? I was told that my new GTS is at the port and ready for pick up really soon, and then told yesterday that there is an airbag safety recall in place (to be performed at the port) but "waiting for parts" and it may not be completed until late august!!!! Is it just me or does that sound a bit crazy?

My car arrived at the port ten days ago. (San Diego as well); I spoke with my SA today and he told me he would know more definitively tomorrow what the hold up is about. The information I received was a bit nebulous to say the least......but let's see what they say tomorrow. When I enter the VIN I don't get any alerts about a recall on the car. I'll try not to stress about it too much. Your car was shipped out slightly later than mine.
