From what I understood ,
the originals are sandwiched in the seals , the plexiglass ones are fitted above the seal and glued, It is also not possible to fit them like the originals as they are bigger to come flush with the body,
My painter was saying the plexiglass are designed for a pure race car rather than a road car and concequence of losing a windows on public road when driving could be very bad,
I will be interested to hear anyones experience who has those on a road car and how did they had them fitted,

It has to be secure, DP just mentioned this 964 was going in for TÜV inspection.
Awesome car BTW!

Just a quick tüv, and then he'll be picked up. Porsche 964 C2 with recaro seats, momo sportlenkrad, lightweight carpet, DP-Clubsport Hanger, rs brake system, kw clubsport suspension, fuchs rims, toyo toyo R888 R, plexiglas rear window, and much more...

Hi Wind,
Well I know , they have 2 styles of plexiglass light windows; the flush ones and the ones cut as the originals,
I am waiting to hear from DP some clarifications to securely fit the rear flush window .

you are using a new roof or just an inlay for the sun-roof hole? federleichte-elfer.de has a carbon unit that fits as a replacement for the sun-roof itself and weights nothing..

So guys, i am searching for some quick-wins :-)

I know, i have a huge potential with my wheels, but i can`t decide to move to 18-inch yet and all alternatives in 17-inch are sadly not "my style".
I have now a carbon hood and a carbon bonnet. What would be with carbon-bumper covers? I still have the alloy bumper beam fitted..

what is the weight advantage of carbon fenders? is it worth the money? Ultimate feature would be carbon-doors but i am not sure, if i like the style and the restrictions, carbon doors would have.... (not water tight for example, need of full-cage)

Front wings: Steel, approx 17lbs each, 4.2 lbs in carbon.

https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...ght-table.html

I recon front and rear bumpers in CF also worth it but nothing like doors which are super heavy ..
every tried opening one in a car that's on its side!

So doors are key I think ... I'm looking at options to join a door ar (not full front cage) only to my rear cage as I have a mould for front doors.

But I'm going slo ... wary about losing the long distance comfort/quiet as I like the long drives to far away tracks too

this is easy but only 2-3kg

here's the sortable list in xcel
