Default Accurate weight table

We are all interested in weight loss but are missing a complete reference table showing the various components’ weights. There’s plenty of information on Rennlist but it’s all over the place and often wrong.
I've made a start putting it all together: weight in lbs (2.240 lbs to 1 kg) manual narrow C2 Coupe, unless otherwise stated.
Corrections/additions are very welcome. A complete and accurate weight guide should be of great help to all members of this forum.

manual vs power steering rack (and pump)? I'm actually swapping mine out fairly soon. If we don't have it by then, I can tell you from my home scale.

Back from the Dead....

Front windshield (glass+rubber seal+rearveiw mirror+ antennae wire+any grime) Weighed in at 22 lbs. Used bathroom scale, preloaded with 10lbs, then 20 lbs (from a weight set) for accuracy, then place windshield on and subtracted the 10 lbs, then subtracted 20lbs, then weighed sheild without preload...all indicate about 22 lbs.

I'd be interested in knowing:

1) Net effect of sunroof vs non-sunroof. The sunroof weight is listed above, but a car without a sunroof has some weight in steel that fills that hole. At least a few pounds...
2) How much does the spare tire weigh alone (sans air pump)?
3) Stereo speakers and in-dash head unit?
4) US spec RS America seats?
5) Roll bar/cage weight?

Hi Greg,

I am 99% sure that 44 lbs is the net savings, not the weight of the panel.

I think the spare tire weighs 33 lbs IIRC

I think a full cage is around 150 lbs depending on steel vs. cro-mo, thickness of tubing and configuration. I think my roll bar is around 70 lbs, so when I put in a cage I am also going to swap roofs for a net gain of around 30 lbs.

Notice on all of this I said, I think, but all should should be pretty close.
