I called yesterday and the guy said he had someone lined up to pick it up today. Told him to call me if it fell through but haven't heard back so it must be gone.

Hi, guys. No affiliation on this. Just a friend asked me about this one who lives on LI and I wanted to see if anyone knew about this one and what their thoughts were.

If that really is a custom color & everything checks out, that is a very cool find for someone.

Hi Ed - that sounds like loads of fun ... but Pitt is one long drive from the Bay Area. On the other hand, you might consider bringing your OB out for the Werks Reunion and the other Monterey Car Week related festivities.

Based on the pics of the engine, it looks like it is the 32V, so yes.

All '85 and '86 US cars are 32v...can only tell by last 4 of VIN: > 1000 and it's an '86.5 - there are a couple hints in the engine bay as well, and of course the brakes and suspension differences.

Car has the renegade small block chevy conversion.
I bought the car for parts, but I would rather offer it here first to someone wanting a complete car to have as a project track car, or complete parts car.
Body is solid as far as I can tell, I crawled underneath it, and it is cleaner than my '85 DD car.
350 chevy engine, starts, runs, I drove it in the neighborhood.
The glass is bronze tint, tail lights, head lights, fog and driving lights are all very good condition.
Front spoiler and grill are almost perfect.
Body paint is aged, all panels are in good condition aside from a few surface rust areas.
The interior leaves a lot to be desired, there are a few good parts.

Like I said, no title, complete for track project or parts.
$2,200. Buyer responsible for shipping.
Limited time, then I will part it out.
Happy to help with any questions.
located Terre Haute, IN.
47803.
Farris.
already getting tired of passers by asking about the 924, . no local market, so this car will be dismantled soon.
this car has potential, but not for me.
$1,800 for a couple days.

^^ better to start your own FS thread rather than burying it in here. Most don't bother checking this thread.

This thread has averaged more than 500 views per day since it started. That's more than any another thread on this forum. It'd be interesting though to see how many people in the past year bought a car that they saw linked in this thread.
