What makes you so certain he is being transparent? He's also a sales person...soo..

Seems like they dole out the big set of allocations out twice a day and then probably sprinkle in surprise/reward allocations throughout the year (just a guess on my part). Those Sept/Oct cars won't be delivered until 2018 so yes Brett got his allocations that will be delivered in 2017 this round.
Exactly.. Don't believe the hype!

With more commentary about actual allocations does RL now think the allocation rollout has started albeit inconsistent.

Just another data point- my dealer who has two 918 customers only received one allocation- WTF? Confirmed next allocations come in September- hope for more than one next time!

Anyone know what the build dates are for these early allocations? I heard that the earliest build date for US cars is September.

Code 200
It would seem some code 200's would be posted here as the talk about allocations seem inconsistent and no doubt some spin or hopeful thoughts. Code 200 will provide the estimated delivery date.

spoke w my Gm he is under impression that only 190 allocations for the US this go around, so many dealer came up empty

On the positive note his regional rep told him that there will be an additional pool of allocations that will be released

The confirmed V200 build dates for earliest allocations are mid July. These are for end of August to early September delivery date.

July through September are mostly 918 VIP program allocations as well as VVIP allocations. Although some dealers still got regular allocation for launch cars during this period. The allocations released 2 days ago are for build dates July through December 2017. In September, Porsche will allocate January 2018 through April 2018 allocations.

So all of the 2017 allocations are for PDK builds? And the September/October allocations will be for 2018 calendar year builds with the PDK or manual option?

Manual options will be available for October 2017 build dates and onwards allocations, while supplies last. It will be the same allocations as the ones allocated already from July through December.

Brett from Sonnen has always been transparent. I do not own a 918, but have my allocation for the .2GT3, he called me yesterday. Submitted my build already.

Edit: It will be a manual car. I was told September build.

^ Care to share how you got it to the top of the list considering how few allocations Sonnen received in relation to how many they were expecting?

VIP?

Not a VIP at all. I put my name on the list 2.5 years ago. At the time, people were scrambling to get .1 GT3 and were on the lists for the RS. No one at the time was thinking about .2 GT3, and some thought it may never happen.
