Those are definitely 18" Cayenne wheels.

Nice color (what is that?) '82 without rub strips. Good price ($7500) if car is as described.

Given what nice low mile cars have been bringing on BAT, this is a good buy.

Reference the low mile black car on BAT at the moment.
Seller is a real dick. Maybe it's me being the dick.
He will only allow peeps to view the car at 10.00am on the morning of auction which ends at circa 3.00pm.
That makes it practically impossible for anyone to look at the car prior to auction end.

I also advised that local service should be done by a local specialist and not the unknown dealers.
If you have time to get on the thread and offer support for the local 928 specialists I would appreciate it.

Several things I noticed on that car Rog just mentioned.

Seller mentions throttle body rebuild. I'm fairly new to these cars so I'm curious as to what that entails. If you are going to get the throttle body rebuilt, why wouldn't you replace the TPS harness and tuck it back where it goes instead of leaving it flopping on top of the engine. 13 years on a water pump and tensioner, that's going to be fun to tear down and you sure wouldn't want to start the engine. Likewise fuel lines and I'd be most worried about the head gaskets.

It was very entertaining to watch Roger put the know-nothing dealer in place in the span of 10 min. That's the problem with selling and buying 928 from an used car dealer. They are not car enthusiast that would put at least 15-30 min to get to know the make model of their items.

Hoi

Yea, and it just keeps getting better. He's brokering the car and if I were the owner I'd be really pissed this guy was acting like that trying to sell my car.
