but the BLACK PLDS is not offered for the GT3 (yet), maybe it will later?
One of the reasons I chose the regular PDLS for my 991.1 GT3 was the grey rim on the outside matched the standard grey wheels.

^^^ see. LED headlights. Running 4 points around the halo as they always have.

On the bi-xenon PDLS the 4 point lights are in the center. No more running lights on the bumper. Same as the 991.2 Carrera's.

I prefer this look:

So the LED's are the only black version right now. I'm sure black PDLS will show up soon.

Regardless of $$, i'm not sure which headlights i like better. The base 4 corners are cool in their own way, as are the LEDs... so many choices.

Nice- just saved me $2000. I was going with the Black LEDs but much rather prefer the Bi-xenon w/ PLDS with the four lights in the center.- looks sharper.

Personally I hate the look of the LEDs and the halo--reminds me of the Bettle or Mini lights.

The 4 light cluster however, I've loved that since it appeared on the other lines--didn't eveything else get it first? Panamera, Cayenne, Macan, etc.

I wouldn't consider the LED lights until they revise US traffic laws and let them work as they do in Europe. And even then I don't like the halo/ring look.

I agree. Look like bug eyes.

This look will get dated pretty quick and show their age.

Agree that its frustrating that US laws greatly restrict the brightness that can be used on LED lights.

There was some great information on this when everyone was ordering their .1 cars, about the candlelight power on the regular bixenons vs the LEDs, and it was a big difference in the rest of the world, but a very small one in the US due our silly laws.

Would be great if someone could post that specific information again on LED candlepower vs bi-xenons in the US market?????

Huh... I would too, if they came in black. But given the choice between black LEDs with the DLRLs in along the outside of the ring or a grayish PDLS with the nicer-looking DLRLs within the assembly, I'd still place more weight on the black than the tighter cluster of lights.

Like you said, hopefully Porsche releases a black PDLS option soon.

Remember last time with the LED headlights? Same thing happened. The black version didn't come out until later with those.
