I understand what the actual option selected was on the GT4. I am merely stating what it "looks like" in various lighting conditions. On the configurator, it looks a very dark gunmetal. It remains to be seen if that is how it looks like in person in different lighting conditions.
Basically 5 options:
If you want to match the other silver parts in the car (like door handles and pulls), get the standard brushed aluminum.
If you want to match the color of the black leather and other black parts, get the anthracite at zero cost.
If you want to contrast all other interior parts and you like the gloss look, get the carbon fiber.
If you want to match the black leather, get the leather option at zero cost.
If you want to match the outside paint, get the painted option at zero cost.

on your .1 you had anthracite or the regular aluminium? you can still put the regular aluminium on the .2 it is basically silver finish but the anthracite comes in black. Currently on my .1 i have carbon, which i love but thinking if i order the .2 to go with black anthracite. It is black but shows some lines and details since it is brushed.
I don't recall anthracite being on the .1 config so is yours anthracite or regular aluminium? Can you share a picture?
Thanks!

[QUOTE=ChicagoM4;14036568]What do people think? This will be my shared daily commuter/country road/poseur build. I only track 2-3 times / year max so I don't think the PCCBs will crap out that soon.
My 1m has about 130mm of clearance and barely doesn't scrape my driveway so lift is needed. Otherwise, Texas is fairly flat. Someone mentioned the lift now raises 40mm so 88+40 will give me 128mm of clearance.
I haven't sat in LWBS but I'm still young and fit (5'10'' 168lbs).
Not sure if regular or black LEDs work better with gt silver. Thanks.
Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong place.
Nice build. I like the platinum stitching with yellow belts. I was thinking about doing the same but red belts and iron brakes. I've been kind of gravitating toward the GT silver

My current GT3 has CF my 911 50 before that had the brushed aluminum they did not have any options besides that for that car
For this reason if i go for a .2 i think i'd do anthracite just for a change although i do love the CF.
I want a .2 but can't seem to let my .1 go either

Saw this beauty in Guards Red tonight in the service bay. GR is growing on me, and if I don't get PTS I'm seriously considering a stripper GR build with maybe the center steering wheel marker in red as one of the few of any options.

With all this talk about black v anthracite v painted interior trim, let me just say: don't do the painted interior trim. I've seen it several times, and no matter the color, it always looks tacky in person.
Here is a pic I took today of a car in my local dealership's showroom that is PTS orange (unsure, but either Signal or Gulf orange I assume) with painted interior trim. Would have been so much more tasteful if the interior trim had been more understated, either black/anthracite brushed aluminum or even black leather.
