it seems there is a huge variance in allocations between dealers globally. In Dubai for example , there is only one dealer ( pure monopoly ). He gets the full pie . They sold 120 2015 991.1 GT3's. That's only 2015 model year, a lot MY 2014 too and very little MY 2016.

At least for Germany there is a lot more demand for manual for daily driver cars.

Premium sports or power cars (M5 etc), less. I think they are techniklovers who like their DCTs and actually care about the slight drop in time.

Well where i live i am number 5 on the list. Number 1 ordered a manual and number 3 did too. Not sure about 4,6 and 7. Apparently only 7 allocations for now for Saudi.

Mine is also a manual but i did not place order i only made the deposit. The dealer told me they will call me in about 2-3 weeks to place the manual order but i am not sure at this point as the trade-in delta is over what i want to spend, so i may back out when it is time to place the order.

51 orders since the start of the show. I am sure there were orders before the show... The manual is much more demanded in the US market. More PDK is ordered in Europe most likely. As I said the list for MT is not open yet and all allocations and delivery times are guesstimates by buyers and /or dealers. Either way, its a long wait but will be happy to get one eventually.

How on earth is there ONLY one PORSCHE dealer in Dubai?? That's insane. Many mid sized US cities have two Porsche dealers.

The population of Dubai is very small. Abu Dhabi 45 minutes away has another dealership and i think Sharjah has another (like an hour away from Dubai).

Btw, in Saudi Arabia where we have a population of about 30 million people, we only have 1 Porsche dealership.

There are only 2 dealers in the whole COUNTRY. One in Abu Dhabi, and the other is the Dubai dealer , which is effectively the dealer for all the northern Emirates.

You can get one easily In Dubai directly from the dealer. August & September deliveries are sold already. Place an order and you get your car OCT/NOV max.

I don't know who David Donahue is. What I do know, is that my dealer has confirmed my June build. Furthermore, every person I've spoken to over here that is involved with the GT3 (demand and supply side) confirm the same months. I could be wrong off course, no guarantees in life :-)

Your June date is correct judging from the GT3RS time line from 2 years ago.

The car is shown at Geneva, and production starts around May, initial batch are for European market, North American cars comes later.

At that time, my GT3RS was a late June build, and arrived at my dealership mid August, it was one of the first North American GT3RS.
