Andrea, thanks for the pics. The new GT3 appears to be a superb all-around package. Love the styling changes, that is except for the rear air scoops. Prefer the cleaner design of the .1. Of course, in person they might appear sleeker, less bulky and easier on the eye. What's your impression? Can't wait until the NY car show next month to judge for myself.
Looking forward to getting a 6MT version sometime in 2018. It will be a loooong wait. Was originally planning on white (for the first time in my life) but those scoops have me thinking a darker color might work best for me. Same old black as usual I guess (only this time with silver wheels).
STG, thanks a lot for working this thread. And I see that Jalopnik is a fan too!
Any forum members opting for GT silver(classic for my first Porsche)? That is my initial choice. Other colors I'm thinking are Graphite Blue Metallic (interesting, never seen anything like that before) and Carrera White Metallic (too safe).
Yes, Myself. Have had 5 Porsches. GT Silver is awesome. Will look great with black wheels and all the other black parts. GT Silver is a nice rich silver. But, I too, am flip flopping between that and GBM
Note- Have not had that color yet but sick of the attention I get in Carmine Red ect. GT3 draws a lot of attention these days. Hence, why I do not drive s Lamborghini which I love the styling

Porsche seems to like the plastic look on rear deck lids these days: R, RS, .2gt3 all have some version of it. I had my RS plastic part of deck-lid painted UV as cxx and I THINK they use aluminum instead of plastic when painted from factory? And my God they charge you handsomely for it.

The black rear scoops really don't look good. Wife says they look like speakers. Not sure what they were thinking on that one.
In the video AP claimed they provide a natural ram-air effect and at high speeds generate a free extra 20hp more than you would see on a simple dyno run.
I'm sure you can put flat ones in and give up that extra HP if you really want.
Andrea, if possible, could you get a photo of the middle of the rear diffuser where the cut-out for the cooler is? Also it would be great to see the height of the front spoiler with something up against it for scale.

Now... waiting to hear how far down the list I am. It'd be my 1st new Porsche and I'm getting the feeling that I should have been 'working' a relationship with them over the prior months (years?) to get a call back...
But... I do know a few in the VIP program. Can they flip a GT3 (to me) and remain VIPs?
