May sell/trade the current GT3 for garage space. LMK if anyone knows of a midnight blue 997.2 RS without the clown graphics and a black interior... that way the boss may not notice the change.
No foreseeable plans to replace my RUF 997, but if the unthinkable happened and someone totalled it, I'd take my Hagerty check and replace it with a 997TT and convert it to RWD or maybe a 997 GT3, possibly a GT2. I have no interest in any 911 after the 997 generation, but would consider a 993TT or RUF BTR.
Not interested in anything newer than my 05 997 DD.
Plan on maintaining it better than new as things wear out, with simplicity in mind.
Be interesting to see who last longer - the car or me.
Often get the itch for a turbo, but rarely use all the capabilities of this car, so I'm good.
If this one ever wears out, I'll drive my 92 964 cab until it does too.
I've had mine for 5 years now. Last spring took out a 991.2 S and while its quick I didn't like it all that much. Also took out a 991 GT3...whole different level of car. I haven't driven anything at that level before so was blown away by every aspect. I drove my 997.2 to the dealer so got back in my car to go home and it felt awesome. Wouldn't get a 991 regular variant...prefer mine. Really depends what experience you are after.
