^^^ It's a shame that it was hardly driven through so many owners. Curious to know how many miles on it now?

This is great. Thanks for this.

I could have sworn that Mexico is a bit darker than Riviera, but the opposite seems to be true in this pic.

Sometimes photos misrepresent reality.
'Riviera' is lighter than 'Mexico' in the
real world.

Eduardo, or anyone else, I'm curious if the colour code for Clubblau is known?

It is known to the PAG & the owners of the
60th Anniversary Limited Edition. But they
have been a little shy about telling us...

https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8995...olor-code.html

It is as they think those numbers & letters
will (e.g. Z29) be quickly duplicated at Earl
Scheib & there will a 'faux' 991 gts sporting
their exclusive color. As long as PAG doesn't
allow it to be ordered by others via PTS, that
is all that matters. Having the color code is
not critical. The paint code for 'Club Blau,
and even more importantly the actual paint
formula for reproducing it, is available to any
body shop in the world. As you can imagine,
that information has to be made readily available
to the trade to take care of any repairs.

Anyone interested in doing this color on
their long-hood 911 restoration just has
to look up the paint formula for the Porsche
1974 911 color 'Acid Blue' & they are almost
there!

That was the starting point of the
exercise when the color was
specially formulated for this PCA
60th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Saludos,
Eduardo

Thanks Eduardo. I'm a little surprised people are being so tight lipped about it then. ?? If I happen across it at some point, it would only be for my own interest btw. I think it is a spectacular colour!

My personal 2 cents is do lots of research and try to look at actual paint chips if possible (they aren't always spot on either but better than trying to decide on internet pics) and decide what is for you and spec car for YOU......its not a popularity contest and how can we know what you like?

Voodoo changes shades quite a bit.

Here is mine in direct sunlight on a bright day.
