bronson, nearing 15000 km, but I drove a lot less this past 12 months for a variety of reasons including taking the old-fashioned two-legged way on my 6 km route to work frequently. I really should plan to drive the GT3 more going forward (let's see if I can't get me one of them shiny new G engines sooner!!). I don't store it during winters as it's my year round dd and it doesn't really snow here, but it can sit for weeks at a time.
I see I left my other thought half finished. I was wondering if the BMW used to be biglare's.
Thanks nimprojects for the heads up. I'll blatantly repost a whole bunch of photos from IG. From Will (ptsrs), it appears the owner got satin black wheels, and matte black roof stripes. From the interior photo, it looks like custom black stitching, and an embossed Porsche crest on the head rests. Overall, this is possibly my favourite Fashion grey 911 of any variety, ever. Congratulations to the new owner! Amazing!!!! (BTW, this is already the second Fashion grey 911R that we know of, and I don't know of any other PTS colour that has been painted on more than 2 cars yet. Must be quite the popular (and lovely) colour! )
Better late than never, I guess, although I'm "only" about a full year behind on this one!
I just learned of another special edition 911 GTS in Fashion grey! The Jebson 60th Anniversary Edition was limited to 10 RHD cars, and delivered to celebrate this special Porsche milestone in Hong Kong in November 2015. The car was customized with grey and black roof and side decals, black wheels (similar to 50th Anniversary edition 911) and blue stitching on the steering wheel. Only $2,598,001... erm, HK dollars that is.
(It's a very nice variation of the look we saw just 2 months earlier on the Rennsport Reunion Edition GTS from September of the same year. Photo below for comparison.)
I'm still waiting for the build schedule for my .2 C4S in Fashion Grey, but when I ordered it I was told it should be delivered in April. Will post pics when I get it.
Lol, thanks bronson7 but I'm not sure I can take credit for much. Although I wish I could claim to have access to PAG and influence the design of these sorts of cars!!! That would definitely be a fun job! If someone ever figures out who's in charge of these special edition builds, please let us all know. She or he might turn out to be the real Fashion grey aficionado who's pulling all the strings!!!
Perhaps lending credence to the theory that someone at PAG likes Fashion grey, here is a photo of company trainees all gathered around a Fashion grey cabriolet. Gotta start early with the new and impressionable company recruits!

I believe that person is our friend Boris Apenbrink.
