But we North Americans are now starting to figure it out, at least based on this iteration of PTS RS's now hitting these shores. Lessthan3mph; Thank you for all your post about the Fashion Grey/ModeGrau classic color. Last week I took delivery of a GT3RS in Southern California (SOC). This color continues to look different in various lighting. So fun to see it change. I've been getting lots of complements from strangers walking up to me. In essence a very special color for a very special car. Love it.

Great looking Fashion Grey RS! This may be the first one in the US based on what I have been able to track down. Which dealer is this from? More pics would always be welcome! Congrats.

Congratulations gluinca! That is such a great car, and thanks for your photos and post! I'm glad this thread was of some interest to you and that you have found what a neat colour modegrau can be. Please feel free to contribute more photos, stories, and impressions any time. Have fun driving your new Fashion grey monster! That reminds me, I'm grabbing my key as we speak to head out for a drive in my fashion grey little brother to your RS!!

Thanks wysl94 (Will); I purchased it from Newport beach Porsche. They are terrific to work with.
Our weather here in Souther California is the June cloudy days so the pictures are a bit dark.... Waiting for a sunny days to take more.

I understand why it is called "FASHION" gray, what a formal looking color! Beautiful.

She's certainly a beauty. The other two cars next to you aren't too shabby either.

Not sure where to post this--here vs 911R thread. But since I'm a fashion grey junkie, I guess this makes the most sense!!!

From PTSRS's IG:

Fashion grey 911R!!!!!

Sport Classic grey 911R!!!!

And for good measure, since we're on greys, here's a repost of the Slate grey 615 911R!!!

The 'Modegrau' 911R is stunning. The 'Slate 615' looks good too!
I find 'Sport Classic Grey' too pale! But that is just a personal view.

I'm sorry if this has been discussed before, but is Dolphin and Fashion Grey the same?
I'm sure many of us have seen that "Dolphin Grey" 997.2 RS photo, black wheels and ceramics.

I love Fashion Grey but if Dolphin Grey was a touch darker it's my ideal colour.

Dolphin grey is not the same as fashion grey. To me it looks less saturated or more pale. That 997 has sometimes been incorrectly labelled as fashion grey.
