HOT FOR SALE: Pick of the Week 991
#5911
Race Car
Longtime lurker, rare poster. Discovered this beauty of a gts through my obsessive searches.
https://capitalporsche.com/inventory...5+White+696341
Signed my paperwork today and hope to have it shipped to me this week. I'm in ny, car in Florida - dealer was a pleasure to deal with and Mike Ludes (salesman)was a gentleman. I've had a deposit on this car for almost a month. They didn't rush me because I was in the midst of transferring my e63 for 6 weeks. Mercedes took 6 weeks to handle the paperwork. Ridiculous. But no more whining, getting my first Porsche very very soon. Paid 111,712. I think more than fair for Me considering I almost bought a new 147 msrp gts vert for 129,999. I'll gladly save almost 20 k for 6,200 miles
Pics to be posted as soon as she arrives.
The knowledge this thread has taught me is amazing. 7 months ago I had a salesman tell me porsches don't really depreciate and they should all be sold at Msrp because of their amazing resale. I guess he doesn't subscribe to this thread...
Thanks again, brothers!
My only problem is im now fully addicted to looking at these listings so who knows who long I will keep my gts. White was not my first choice. But the two tone interior sold me.

Not "el cheapo", but did you see this one? I live half an hour from the dealer and can at least check it out in person, but not sure about test driving it since I will likely have my son will me.
We had snow pellets yesterday, so the dealer might be flexible on the price to avoid sitting on it until the spring!

The exterior is not in great shape, with a couple pretty deep gouges, surface scratches, and some curb-damaged wheels.
The interior is in good shape, but WAY too much red for me
The car feels solid; I did not notice any creaks/rattles. I have not driven a manual in 2+ years and could have gone either manual/PDK on my C2S, and the short drive made me love PDK even more
I am including the contact info for the salesman, Jack, in case anyone is interested. Feel free to ask me for any additional info, whether here or via PM.
A couple gouges
Deep gouges
Horizontal scratches and rub mark
REDRUM! REDRUM!

^I just saw this car, and took a quick test drive since I did not have my son

For me beaten is a bit better since I want to DD it anyway. Black and the harsh red are a different matter, though. The car is expensive enough that I would have an eye on how easy to resell a car would be.
Still might be a good lowball victim when the first snow falls.
Could you make a full-res version of the photo of the interior available?
Thank you again.

Congrats on the new car.
I am hoping prices fall in Jan/Feb. Looking to pull the trigger before spring, but the prices are just stupid IMO. No idea how they are still pulling in the mid $120's for GTS.

Thanks. It was a great excuse to take a kid-free drive, and help out fellow HFSers
95% of the swirls/scratches can probably be buffed out; Rick at UCC does great work if you can get ahold of him.
The gouges on the rear-passenger quarter and rear bumper were legit; I am guessing the previous owner parked by something made out of brick/concrete.
Even swapping a black steering wheel and armrest would likely make a huge difference.
Thank you so much! And for the contact info.

Oh you didn't mean the interior had scratches.
Still, can't find myself preferring it over e.g. this one:

c2s cab GT silver on full black leather, PDCC, PDK, SC, PSE, Burmester.

This is a beauty. CPO with 23K miles, 141K MSRP and asking $73K!
GT Silver too! This is a score if checks out.
Sweet find

No biggie when you're getting a deal like this.

True. An easy and relatively cheap swap! New wheel, stalk, and install, you're in for $1,500.00
