Of course back before post 800 Tony was busy as well.... (that should get a few gears going...)

For years Tony has been my 'enabler', finding cars and bits and spending my money vicariously by teasing deals my way.

Getting my revenge these past few weeks.

Nice buy, T - she's a beauty.

I was very interested in that car, and talked to the owner. He sent me a bunch more pictures, but I have since deleted them. I was very tempted to buy it, but I am not a fan of black. The pictures on Craigslist aren't the best - the car actually looks nicer in the other pictures. I think it is an honest seller, and an honest car. It has been for sale for a long time though, so that price can probably be knocked down by a couple of grand. I ended up getting an 85 in a color combo I like better, with lower miles. I'd offer $12K for it, or maybe 11.5 and go up $1K. Get a ppi to be sure, or at least one of the local guys to take a look, like Joel or Brett. The car is actually in Zanesville OH, which is about 45 mins East of Columbus (but about 2 hrs away from me, or I'd have already seen it in person).

Default Raleigh NC, can anyone look at a car?

If you're in Raleigh and can inspect a car for me I'd be most appreciative! It's an '87 S4.

After almost all red 928s, looks like there is a run on black 928s over at BaT.

The latest: 71K mile, 1989 S4

Kinda dirt cheap (3k BIN) for a running & driving '79 5 speed with pascha - looks relatively complete...nice start for driving restoration.

That car was listed here several months ago from NH. It was asking $4k at that time.

It has a "leaky" exhaust, high idle, and a fairly rough interior. However, it is there and drive it like you stole it!

I am wondering why I'm not getting much response on my 1980 928? It is very original except for paint with 1 owner till 2 years ago. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds...8/1868673.html

One opinion: I think Hemmings is frequented more by buyers looking for collector cars. Yours is a very nice driver with a few needs. Will appeal to a DIY hobbyist.
I think it is priced right. Is black repaint original color? I think you would do better on Ebay, Bringatrailer.com, or here.
