Nice price. His '87 auto with more miles went for 36K a few weeks ago. It was a mirror image of this one. So at least in this case the manual with less miles didn't command the 20% premium that Hagerty suggests. Still, very solid money.

I guess he doesn't know what he has. Probably doesn't know that Euro '86 was still 16v. Photo of motor is a 16v twin dizzy.

Some things are rare for a reason! A couple of Can-Can Reds have shown up here before. That one's at least been garaged, usually the red piping fades to yellow.
