That's funny. I thought the same thing BUT....if someone was in vegas maybe they could go check it out and get a real good deal. Maybe trade for some "frankincense and myrrh" (yes i had to google the spelling of those)
One opinion: I think Hemmings is frequented more by buyers looking for collector cars. Yours is a very nice driver with a few needs. Will appeal to a DIY hobbyist.
I think it is priced right. Is black repaint original color? I think you would do better on Ebay, Bringatrailer.com, or here.

Another nice OB on eBay. I'd remove the fender badge and replace the steering wheel with the original that is included. But nice looking car and no sunroof. And is there such thing as a Euro OB? This one has the euro side marker.

Bidding ended at $10,100 one month ago and didn't meet reserve. I bet it will go lower this time.
Repainted, few dents/scratches, but nice auto otherwise. Will sell at $8000. Not mine.

Bottom of eBay listing. "CALL TO MAKE A OFFER AND END AUCTION THROUGH EBAY-------863-661-0292 TITUS" Agree with most of what's been said above. Respray in pics look very nice and so does the rest of the car sans dash, pod, etc., needs some help but thats mostly cosmetic's. Mechanical's, A/C, etc. have had some $$ thown at them so hopefully that's all sorted. This 928 has lot's of win, re: 8" H4's, nicer euro type driving/fog lights (with the added BA-9 DRL's), cool interior, etc. Someone should lay eyes on this beauty....then give TITUS a call with your offer and drive her home T
I bet the ac doesn't work. I spoke to him for 10-15 min 6 weeks ago and he knows absolutely nothing about the car. He's just a broker for the family. He was telling me the family has a number in mind but he's trying to sell it at a more realistic price. He is trying to tell them what the eBay offerings are fetching before taking a real offer.

I'm going to buy it sight unseen , but something seems shady . He sent me pic of title and has perforated edges ? Call Nevada DMV and they said thats not how title is ?
