+928.
I totally agree with you.
I would not park my car away from the main event neither.
I think that we should all parked together.
I would not like to be the one left outside the group.
And I don't want ANYBODY to be in that situation.
Don't worry brother, you won't drink alone.

I hope I don't get punished; it's just that I luv me car very much, and I don't want to be without 'er , I drive 3 to 5 times a year. I really didn't mean to start a storm or be unappreciative of the warm and generous offering by the town.
Drinks on Bertrand & MJ - leaders of the rebellion
Rick will cover car the wash
Don't look at me.....I'm innocent!

Don't worry my friend.
We ALL love our cars!
I really appreciate Frenzy every year and this won't change.
Thanks Greg and all!
But don't like the idea that maybe we'll need to split the group...
See you next week brother.

"appreciate Frenzy".....I need these events for me to be a little balanced in the crazy NewYorkCity life...no events and I'll need serious meds...the annual "meat packer crowd" and "pete's pizza puzzle" is like icing on the frenzy cake

Gosh, it seems a little risky, long term, to be hassling a couple of heroic volunteers, who may be reluctant to hassle other folks who are graciously providing special - but necessarily limited - parking privileges. They probably have a detailed map of where venders and others are setting up - asking them to change it for us at this late date will invite antagonism.
Instead, we could double up in some cars. I'd be happy to do this, but I'll be taking shortcuts to get video. Maybe I could use a driver/navigator....

And if this forecast holds we will likely need all 8000 square feet... (hope I didn't jinx it). I'll let the coordinator know we expect to need all 8000 sq. ft. He might be able to add space for 10 more cars - but Curt is correct, the entire area is mapped out for activities, beer tents, vendors, etc. If this forecast holds there will be A LOT of people.

Thanks Jon.
But this year, I didn't do much!
Shawn sent me his design and I asked a good friend of mine - he's a professional graphic designer - to retouched it.
Both did a great job!

Don't thank me. I just vomited some random stuff onto a computer and Bertrand took it from there!
I seriously can not express how excited I am about Frenzy!

Frenzy 20 shirt preview:
..going with a "Natural" cotton color this year, not the gray that you see in the pic.
I wanted to go with the stock D90s or Flats, but didn't have time. Maybe next year...

Thanks, J.P. Another very nice design!
The shirt order was placed last week. We always order extra shirts, but due to a flurry of registrations coming in over the last few days, those extras are almost depleted. So, I won't be able to accept any additional mail order requests at this time. Sorry.

Oktoberfest Parking
Obtaining the maximum amout of close-in parking at Oktoberfest has been a high priority for us. Jon has been corresponding with the Oktoberfest chairman for the past three months to get things worked out. The chairman is looking forward to us being there, and I think things will go very well, but we need to be realistic about the situation. This is first time they have tried to park dozens of cars on the new town Green. We had requested space to park 50 to 60 cars, and the latest registration count puts us at 62 people who are driving 928s to Frenzy. It's fantastic that there is such a huge turnout for Frenzy this year, but that certainly makes the Oktoberfest parking more of a challenge.
I will send out an email query to all the registrants who indicated "Driving my 928" on their registration form to see whether any of them are not intending to park on the Green. That will give me a better idea of what the actual parking requirement is.
As we try some new things at Frenzy this year, ongoing patience and positive attitudes will be much appreciated.
Regards,
Greg
