Great document. Wish I had this before doing all the measurements and math myself when I ordered my lift!

I gotta ask WTF is a supporting "BEAN"? At first I assumed typo for beam but it's in there more than once!

Hi Jenner, I posted a picture of my garage and I have a supporting bean which I need to incorporated into the sizing calculation for the 4-Post Lift

Yes I see the supporting beaM. You just wrote "beaN" above and in your XLS document it says beaN every where!

I got 4 lifts in my garage.

Go with Bendpak HD9, you can't go wrong with that!

It depends on your placement of the main air compressor. The way I set up the air compressor, it's located in the corner of the garage, near the garage door. So having the unit on the lift post can be easier access when you are working on the car.

If you look at my picture, I ran the power and air lines straight up to my roof to have a cleaner set up.
