What size breakers are you plugged into in the garage for the lift and what was the cost with installation and delivery if you had them installed? Thanks

I ordered the 120V version and plugged it into my regular garage outlet. I think it is a 15A circuit but I can double check. I have never tripped the breaker in the ~3 years I have had it. I will PM you on costs...
Mine plugs into standard electrical outlet ("110 - 120 - whatever it takes"). My lift was a Quality Lift. Installed, less than $3k. No air compressor needed. Manual lowering, you have to hold two different levers (safety feature), but I think you can get compressor to lower. Not needed in residential application in my view, more of a commercial need if the thing is up and down all the time.

Yup, I have a Quality Lift as well, uses a standard outlet. It's a great Made in USA, ALI certified lift. Lowering is very easy without the need for a compressor.
Any one have any feedback on American Custom Lifts, specifically this ACV-7?
I have the ACV9 which is the 9000lb version of the ACV7. It's made by Quality Lift and designed by Challenger. Great lift and I had a great experience dealing with American Custom Lifts.
Well, just found out that pulling straight onto the standard steel ramps on my Bendpak 9ST isn't possible without 2x4s, ugh. I ordered the 48" aluminum ramps which are supposed to be better but I'm still doubting it will be enough to get on the GT4 up straight in without backing it onto the ramp. Ugh.
Did a lot of research and measuring and went with a Direct Lift as there was a local dealer in PHX and they delivered it and set it up.
Got RaceRamps for low profile cars as they weight next to nothing compared to the ones it came with that weigh a ton...
Went with 110 so it's a little slower than the 220 but I didn't have to rewire anything in the garage.
Works fine with either 914 or Spyder on top or bottom.

I can back my gt4 up with no problems in my hd9swx with the optional aluminum ramps.

Pardon my "late to the party post" but does the GT4 NOT get up a Benpak HD 9 (xw) with the standard ramps provided?
Or are the Al optional ones the only way to go?

I have 2 pieces of 2x6 lumber under the entry end of the ramp. They extend about 18 inches from the ramp edge and work fine with GT3 or GT4. Kermit is a bit lower and the spoiler rubs a little, spoiler has so much rash I don't care.
The ramps that come standard are stupid heavy and must be attached for safety. Prob is that when the lift is up the ramp end is in your face as it angles down when the lift raises to provide a rear wheel stop.
I WILL be designing a solution to replace the ramp with something light weight and easy to attach or remove. My situation is a bit different as I am installing a second HD9 today, behind my current one. Do I just use one ramp moved between them? The ramp for the first one will extend outside but it will be picked up to close the door. Buy a ramp for the one deep inside? Or a bridge between the 2 runways? To be used when the lift is down of course.
I use a HD9XW and use the yellow ramps provided and when i lower the lift i lower it all the way down BUT leave leave acouple of inches to go. so not all the way to the floor. i then attach the yellow ramps provided with lift and then slip the race ramps at the end of the yellow ramps.
Problem solved and my GT4 and anything else low can get on no problem.
Called my sales guy today to see if I could add the aluminum ramps but they are no longer in stock (Canada). Not sure when they'll reveive more. So it's plan B!
My lift gets delivered next week!

Honestly, I never tried it but it didn't pass my eye test...especially considering how low the gt4 is. The 991 was fine with the standard ramps on the other side. But I'll try it to see.
