Kobalt, i know what you did there:
have to check the G´s on my RS. but i got the Dunlop SportMaxx mounted...
for me its like they are flipping a coin each time when they ask themself which tires to mount. Cup2 or SportMaxx.

Step 1. Move your seat back 2 inches.
Step 2. Pull the shoulder belt out fast enough to engage the safety lock.
Step 3. Move your seat forward 2 inches.
Step 4. Win your DE championship with your nicely tensioned lap belt.
For anyone tipping their toe in on track experiences, the "free" CG Lock is the way to go. Once you realize a tight lap belt won't keep you stabile or more importantly safe, you'll spend much more so save the $$$ and don't by the CG Lock.

CG Lock is an amusing gimmick. You already have a CG Lock for free...in every car. Step 1. Move your seat back 2 inches. Step 2. Pull the shoulder belt out fast enough to engage the safety lock. I do not have any experience in a 991GT3, but I have been fortunate enough to have plenty of track time in a 997.2 GT3. I took said 997.2 GT3 out on the 4th for a quick spin since it has been nearly a year since I have had the pleasure of doing so. I love a manual, but having the ability to bang out shifts while having your foot matted to the floor must be euphoric. I am still waiting for the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 991 at some point. You guys have a truly special car whether it be a GT3 or an RS especially with all the new tech. Love reading all the owner comments and diaries, keep them coming!

Our more experienced brethren are absolutely correct about the CG lock and the other techniques to firm up the lap belt tension. As we progress in the DE events and our speed increases the LWB's, multi point belts and Hans are the only SAFE way to go.

Buckets aren't anymore supportive than sofas when using 3pt belts, imo. Different story when you install 6pt harness, though. That being said, there is zero reason to change seats or belts when you first start out tracking.
