Had a 350z before kids, then bought a BMW 5 series after she convienced me to get a family car when the first kid was born. The kids hardly sit in my car as they love my wife's SUV, which made her feel guilty, so she convienced me again to get rid of the bimmer go for P-car. My plan has worked so far

Before I got my 997 out of storage this Spring, I told my wife that we needed to be prepared to replace all four tires, plugs, serpentine belt, and fluids to keep it roadworthy and we should budget for that.

She said "it sounds like you need a new car". No honey, I love this one and want to keep it forever...

"Wouldn't you really rather get a new one?"

Well, maybe that would be better.

My wife is a big Porsche fan, I've been wanting a 911 for about 7 years. Driving her Cayman eventually pushed me over the edge, and when I had to make a change, 911 it was.

We got married last month, this picture seemed fitting to share with Rennlist.

Tried to get her vacuum, ending up taking her to dinner.

I hope this a a big boat, because it's probably the most common case. My wife has one fault, and this is it. I always have to hear of all the other things Porsche money can buy (same for BMW, and Audi, and Mercedes, and... you get the drift) but we are 100% compatible where it counts. Maybe it's the 26 cars I've gone through, in out 19 years of marriage.

Good thread! I'm also fortunate that my wife encourages me to buy whatever I want, and she was even kind enough to let me accompany her at the BMW Performance Driving School too.

My wife is very supportive of my purchases. Her only requirement, as long as it doesn't affect my ability to contribute. She drives her Cayenne and very satisfied with that. Me on the other hand keeps adding more and more. Most times I didn't even discuss what I am buying or selling.

To thank her for all the support and her putting up with my hobby, I gave her the keys to my recently acquired 991 GT3. I wanted her to be the 1st to drive it. Being PDK helped as she doesn't like driving manuals and most of my Porsches are manuals.

I consider myself very fortunate.

I love my wife. A lot, but this thread is getting a bit too "check out my hot wife, isn't she hot" thread. A bit strange for my taste.
