Thanks guys. So pumped. I'm working today, so between jaunts in to work I was able to sneak over and pick the car up. The color is very interesting how different it looks in different lighting conditions. It really looks striking in person. Draws a bunch of attention with drivers taking pics and videos.
I was able to drive 30 miles. While the seats look great, I need a little more lumbar support. The Sparcos in my 3 are more comfortable and give you more room behind your helmet. It would be nice to have a little reward tilt.
The car feels very solid/planted. Steering feels about the same as my 3. The OEM exhaust is super quite, I've gotten so use to the GMG center delete. The level of grip on turn in is crazy. Seems like the RS has way more tire, duh it does! This should be very interesting on the track.
Location: The way to hell is paved by good intentions “Wenn ich Purist höre...entsichere ich meinen Browning” "Myths are fuel for marketing (and nowadays for flippers too,,,)" time to time is not sufficient to be a saint, you must be also an Hero
Rosso Efesto apparently. There is also a 918 in this striking Lambo colour. In other news, I have learned today that Signal Orange has unfortunately failed testing for PTS.
This is the Rosso Corsa that is currently at Gaudin Porsche of Las Vegas. Confirmed by the dealer.
Will is busy! --> https://www.instagram.com/ptsrs/ the Anthracite Brown Metallic 991 GT3 RS! or the black one with silver wheels. wow! somehow i´m missing more yellow ones - based on that RY was in the "half-PTS-program"
So many interesting new PTS RS's for sure. Still didn't get confirmation regarding what I suspect is Anthracite Brown. It was spotted near Leusden, Netherlands so I'm guessing it was on its way to Porsche Centrum Leusden. Hoping a local can confirm the color of that.
Very interesting. It never did appear as "Failed" in any PTS list that I've seen since then, so that's why I (re)submitted a sample for testing this past winter. I wonder if it will appear on the list now as a "Failed" result. Did you hear why it failed? I only heard there may have been UV fade issues with some of the Signal colours generally (although obviously not yellow or green).
Ha, funny that two Dutch guys have now tried to get Orange!!! There must be a connection!
:-) The Lava Oranje is the wrong oranje, very fitting on Koningsdag
It was not failed per se, but it wasn't one of the approved colors. Golf blue was approved and a few more, all this was before they made Miami, yellow and black PTS standard colors..
