I don't think the yellow matches the calipers.

It does look great but too bad the 991 doesn't have some bits on the front that can get the accent color as well.

yes you are right, the yellow is different but nevertheless it is interesting, that the rollbar does have a different colour than orange/black

Ive seen signal in person and in this picture they look
identical to me.

As 'poofyo101' said, the '07/'08 gt3 RS color is 'RS Green' or 'Green',
color code 2D8. 'Signal Green' is currently color code 22S & 217 in
the past. We believe that 217 & 22S are basically the same color
formulation of 'Signal Green'. In the early 997 period, PAG allowed
a more yellow tint color to be also called 'Signal Green' but it's color
code is 'W25'.

Photos often 'lie' about PTS colors. You will often hear me say this
on this thread. But when a camera lens captures colors side by side,
you might get an idea of the subtle differences between them. One
such example are photos of 'greens' I took a Porsche Zuffenhausen
in April 2013 at the Customer Center. That gives you a clue of the
difference between 'RS Green' 2D8, 'Signal Green' 217, 'Signal Green'
W25 & 'Viper Green' 225.

*

Here is a photo I took in 2007 of 'Signal Green' W25 and 'RS Green' 2D8.
You can see that 'RS Green' 2D8 has more blue tint than W25 'Signal'.

Hope this helps you analyze the two colors.

No, not yet. But I have lately been concentrating in
the sale of my home in Carmel and the purchase of
a new home in North Scottsdale at Troon. But I will
shortly call my PCNA contacts to see if they have
been able to convince the elusive folks that manage
PTS at PAG to let me interview them & report back
on how they view the Paint-to-Sample program at
Porsche. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they
will eventually talk to me so that we can unravel
some of the mystery of their PTS program, including
how they determine the PTS allocations for each
model & how they set their PTS 'windows'.

Saludos,
Eduardo

The Dover Highway is a couple days away from New York and then in Houston May 4th for cars going into Texas and the Midwest. Almost time for quite a few people here, and ahead of schedule in my case. Who else is on this boat?
