not sure if this is helpful, but did not find it in search: https://www.ptsexplorer.com/
actually seems pretty close to some of the colors that always seem difficult to photograph.
is EM/PTS taking appointments these days?

[QUOTE=Z356;16025099]I really don't know all the colors are presently available in the
PTS 'secret menu' at Porsche. Donavan tells the story that
when he was ordering his PTS 981 Boxster Spyder he was
told he could order 'Sport Classic Grey' by someone at PCNA
(may have been Melissa Witek while she was still at that post).
But we do know that a few customers in the US & Germany took
advantage of that information in the 'secret menu'. I think this
'Sport Classic Grey' 981 Spyder is the one ordered by a German
customer. And Donavan owned a similar one until he sold it
just recently.
Yep, you're right.
SCG is available to certain models directly @ Exclusive in Zuffenhausen.
And you're also right, it is quite a chameleon. Appears to be almost a dirty white in one light and a medium grey the next moment.
BTW..... for me it's not at all similar to CHALK. There's far more brown/sand/beige included in the now available CHALK.
And we can't have this poor quality picture stand here, so I throw in a couple of pics.
The other PTS is CARMINE RED.
For those about to Spyder.....
Pitlane...
NOS....natural habitat :-D
Greetings to Donovan :-)

Check out Lotus' paint selection and simple process by which customers can choose from a few dozen different colors, all at established prices: https://www.lotuscars.com/en-US/mode...-gt/#configure
And this from a company that produces a fraction of the cars Porsche produces in a year.
Porsche could learn something here, for sure.

I also think given the limited volume of cars Lotus makes/sells, their paint does not have to go through various government tests and regulations, incl. (I think) DOT crash tests.

I understand that different models of cars need crash tests, but I would shocked if different colors of paint required them. I seriously doubt government regulation has anything to do with Porsche's PTS paint woes.
