Eurasia is the only one that I'm aware of actually... I figured I'd see if there was anyone else that people use around here. I don't actually have a car yet but want to have a mechanic lined up for when I do!

When I lived in Edmonton, I took my Mercedes to Miles Import Auto out off of 50th St. I don't know if he specializes in Porsches....I know I saw a few there, as well as an Esprit.

+1 for Eurasia. Ron Morandin (Shop foreman, chief Porsche mechanic) used to turn wrenches for Ludwig Heimrath in the Turbo Cup series and is super knowledgeable and skilled in both day to day and racing stuff. Mega years of experience.

+1 for Ron at Eurasia. My car goes to him. I also know of a GREAT (and I really do mean GREAT) indy. No garage affiliations, just a fantastic wrench. PM me if you want his contact info.

Miles' has moved. They do a lot of British cars (I used to take my Lotus there before I got to Eurasia and then the private wrench). FWIW, the only Porsches I ever saw at Miles were 914's.

What kind of Porsche you looking for Quattro?

I'll go to Eurasia for stuff I can't do myself (insurance inspections, alignment, etc). They are very knowledgeable, Ron especially. Mike the owner is very friendly and nice to deal with, I always feel I'm treated as well as a guy who drives in with 996 or a 356, no snobbery at Eurasia.

Go to Eurasia.

They do all of the warranty work on the used cars that I sell to my Edmonton clients.

It's a great shop !!!

Initially I was leaning toward looking for a 964 but the more I think about it, I think I'd like either an SC or a Carrera... But I have to sell some toys first before I can even think about it.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. It seems Eurasia is the place to go...

Not a 930, but there was a red 996tt and a blue/black 993tt on the board at Eurasia last time I was there (about a month or so ago). You might wanna call up Paul or Dory to see if they can tell you anything about the cars.

Eurasia is great, and they are a solid supporter of the Porsche Club and BMW Club in Alberta. Let's be reciprocal and support the shops that support us.

+1 for Eurasia, I just had a bunch of work done by Paul & company to my recently purchased 996GT3. The service & workmanship was first class and Paul was very patient and accommodating to my busy work schedule.

As stated above Paul is a big supporter of Polar Region Porsche Club along with the BMW club in Edmonton.
