Just keep in mind that the free towing portion of the roadside assistance is only provided that the vehicle gets towed to the Porsche dealership and not to your corner mechanic. A plus is that you get a free battery boost; especially if you drive a 928....

Get CAA, I had that roadside assistance with my CPO and the one and only time I called it was a nightmare, thay are located in US and when you tell them your in montreal on the Highway 20 they got absolutely no clue where could possibly be the highway 20.. when I'm stuck on the side of the highway I want someone helpfull and competent on the phone, I don't feel like giving quebec geography 101 over the phone.. Plus CAA coverage can be userfull for other car and friends.

just saying.. :P

I was not planning on cancelling my CAA. Have been a plus member since i started driving older cars. I figure one long tow every 2 or 3 years and it is worth having.

I have my CAA Premium coverage but i'll take anything Porsche that is free!
Have the car towed to the dealer then bring it home with CAA ... lol

Cheers !

Every year I calculate in my head that I paid CAA.
So far, I'm ahead at least 15 years
If I can have it for free ,I can reassure my wife, we can go on longer trips.

BTW I won't be at work tomorrow to help you, so you'll have park on a hill to make sure your 996 will start...
