All URLS from the root http://members.rennlist.org are 404.

I trust that this is either an accident that will be correct quickly or some unannounced maintenance that will be completed quickly?

It would be nice to know if rennlist.org is going to be fixed or not.

If not, then I'd like to know if IB is going to run a script over the database to change members.rennlist.org URLs in posted messages to members.rennlist.com in order to fix all of the broken posts?

Robb, to start with, the login page for uploading files is 404:

http://members.rennlist.org/cgi-bin/webmanager.cgi

As is the link to "manage your site" from

http://members.rennlist.com/

As far as I can tell, every URL from my member's space is also 404:

For example:

http://members.rennlist.org/worf928/...Inspection.pdf

Now, URLs work if the domain is members.rennlist.com, but that doesn't matter for posts in old threads. For one, we can't edit them to change the URL and two, there's no easy way to find the .org URLs even if we could - or wanted to - edit posts.

So, all threads that had pictures or files from member's spaces that were linked through .org are now useless.

If I had to guess, it looks like whatever service was handling .org is dead, although the files themselves are still accessible via .com.

Doug, thank you that was very helpful.

I believe that our NetOps team may have made some IP address changes and potentially made a miscue someplace. I'll work with them and the information you've provided to get to the bottom of this.

The SLD : "http://members.rennlist.com" and the SLD "http://members.rennlist.org" should resolve to the exact same IP. The reason is that the database is held in "members.rennlist.org/username"

In your DNS Records for rennlist.org in the FQDNS - point the FQDN "members.rennlist.org" to the following IP:

98.158.194.232
