They getting way less cars then expected at this point. I think that’s the case for all Canadian dealers.

Wait it out. I think later in production cycle we will see more cars allocated to us here.

Not sure there is much later. This round was until July 2018. Not to say that some more won’t show up before then and after. But can only go on what’s known.

Not sure that is entirely correct given statements from some members here who have purchased multiple vehicles over the last couple of years and haven't received an allocation.

I guess my point is that is not enough.

What price? Discount? Are they trading those in regularly? Referrals to new business? Service spend? Parts spend? Event spend? Race team support?

Then there is the relationship with dealer management.

It’s not setup to give the average buyer a chance.

It really depends on the dealer. I had not previous relationship, put down a deposit over 2.5 years ago and was told I was 2nd on the list. When I got a call last March to place my order I was told that I moved to #1 (someone pulled out) and I will be getting my car next week. It's at the dealership a GR with PDK and first for this dealer.

Based on everything I'm reading it really seems that each dealer manages their allocations very differently.

This is one of the problems though, lack of consistency. As a consumer who wants a car, which basket do I put my eggs. I've now chosen wrong once. Another 3-4 years to try again.
